Hyperhidrosis excessive sweating

Hyperhidrosis, excessive sweating, is a disease that affects about 1-3% of the population. It is just as common in men as in women. It can occur virtually anywhere on the body. Many people think that you can only sweat a lot in eg. hands or armpits but the trouble may as well hit the head, groin, torso, feet or even the whole body. Sometimes the trouble disappears over the years. Sometimes they get worse over the years.

An iontophoresis apparatus is used for various purposes in cosmetic treatments. It is ideal for combating cellulite and fluid retention and for thinning the body and reducing obesity as a local treatment.

However, it has the function of an  iontophoresis device to combat excessive sweating, or hyperhidrosis as it is also called, which is most noticeable. The treatment of hyperhidrosis with iontophoresis involves temporarily closing the sweat glands.
